LICENCING

Gaming Board of Tanzania register and regulates the gambling business and gamblers by issuing permits and permissions. Once you want to enter the gambling industry, you are obliged to obtain specific gambling licence or permit for your business. This can now be applied online where you will be offered with all the information required to get a gambling licence.

INSPECTION

Gaming Board examines and assesses gambling businesses and their premises to make sure that they meet and adhere to specific gaming standards and regulations. The inspectors will ensure that whatever that is involved in gambling is safe, fair and legally approved. This can be gaming personnel, items or devices, premises, systems or software.

COMPLIANCE

Gaming operators must conform to gaming rules, specifications, policies, standards and laws. The Gaming Board has a goal that gambling businesses aspire to achieve in their efforts to ensure that they are aware of and take steps to comply with the Gaming Act Cap. 41 of 2003 and its amendments.
